Migraine today, thank you weather

I managed to work through a sinus headache today because, at the time, it wasn’t interfering with my reading. Until the weather front really got here and now it’s like a pounding headache that hurts whether my eyes are open or closed, whether I look at a computer screen or not. Nausea is also not a fun thing.

I am supposed to have a riding lesson tomorrow. If this headache keeps up, it may be my instructor riding and me just acting as groom. Because no riding helmet squeezing my head would be good right about now.

I’m feeling more positive than yesterday. It is easier to cry now then it was a few weeks ago. It’s still hard but it’s moving towards the normal progression.

Sinus + tension + grief = migraine today.

Heading to bed early to get some sleep and hopefully get this headache gone.

My friend Zoltan came out with me to the barn on Tuesday and videod a ride on Kasane. It’s in three parts. Unfortunately the first part is sideways. Isis was incredibly sore the day after the trail ride. We both were; although she certainly was worse off. My legs were sore, but not bad. Her entire body was sore. She carefully walked around, picking her way through the paddock to walk over to me. I rubbed her down with liniment and walked her…

  • Isis this morning

The barn just called. Isis may be having another episode of EPM (neurological disorder), like she did back in June. She isn’t as bad as she was then, but she still isn’t “right.” I’ll write more when I know more. I’m on my way out to the barn now. Update: It’s not EPM. It’s choking….
