I’ve been riding more. Not enough, but I’m averaging about twice per week, which is twice as much as before. I’m trying to work the kids on a more consistent basis. Isis is looking good and is back to actually doing collection work. She’s fun to ride. It’s like a light went on last summer…
The weather was perfect at the barn. We had a nice quiet ride (more on that in another post). At the end of the evening, the fog settled over the pasture. Evenings in Tennessee always looked like this, but it isn’t something I see very often in North Carolina. Related Images:

When the chiropractor came out in early November, she pointed out that Isis’ spine near her withers had sore points. The sore spots were most likely caused by a saddle that didn’t fit properly. The barn just called. Isis may be having another episode of EPM (neurological disorder), like she did back in June. She isn’t as bad as she was then, but she still isn’t “right.” I’ll write more when I know more. I’m on my way out to the barn now. Update: It’s not EPM. It’s choking….
