The farrier came out today. It has now been exactly six weeks since Rajiyyah injured her leg. It is looking worlds better. The cut is basically gone, the swelling is minimal. She has defiitely improved.
Farrier said that Isis’ feet look perfect. Yay! First time her feet have looked that good. Rajiyyah’s feet also looked good.
I’m really happy with the new supplements they are on. They are making a real difference in the girls’ feet.

A horse found neglected in Briceville on Feb. 24 is being cared for at the Oak Ridge Animal Shelter. The owner was arrested for animal curelty. I’m going to contact the shelter tomorrow and see if there is anything the community can do to help this poor horse. Oak Ridger – Community Related Images:
I managed to not be too much of a wreck today, but still nervous. Our appointment for the vet hospital was 10:00 AM, so we got her there in plenty of time. She got on the trailer well and was a good girl about everything. This is only the second time I’ve taken Breezy anywhere….
