Bone chip surgery day

I managed to not be too much of a wreck today, but still nervous. Our appointment for the vet hospital was 10:00 AM, so we got her there in plenty of time. She got on the trailer well and was a good girl about everything.

Hauling Breezy to the vet school for surgery.

This is only the second time I’ve taken Breezy anywhere. I won’t be allowed to see her until we come to pick her up in two days. I don’t like taking her some place and not being able to come in and see her. These are changes at the vet school since Covid.

Breezy unloaded great and was brave walking through the hospital. It’s the first time we’ve asked her to walk into a building that is more building than barn. She snorted at every drain and wasn’t keen on walking into the black-matted stall. We threw some shavings down on the black mat and then she came into the stall.

Now we wait to find out what happens with the surgery.
