Awesome news!

Some excellent news this morning! The vet said that Isis will be evaluated tomorrow morning to see if she can come home. Yay! Her staples may also come out today or tomorrow.

I dropped by this afternoon and interrupted Isis’ nap. She was so sleepy. She had plenty of dry hay to eat and two buckets of water. She definitely seems to be more her old self.

Her left eye lid is still a little puffy and swollen from when she dinged it last week. At least the cut on her eye has healed nicely.

Isis ad a lameness exam today. She has been moving stiff since early April. Not enough to where she was lame or off, but just enough that she wasn’t moving right. She was unhappy when I rode. When I ride, she falls in on the right side. The vet came out today and did a…

  • Rode. Life is good.

The kids were great tonight. Even with the threat of rain on the drive to the barn, it was dry at the barn. I worked Rajiyyah first with the surcingle and reins. For the first time she focused on me and paid attention. Very good workout. She was mellow and happy. Isis was next. I…
