Moved. Finally.

For the past month, I’ve been packing and coordinating a move. Finally finished the move on Friday, cleaned like mad on Saturday, and turning in the keys to the old apartment on Sunday morning.

I used a moving company for the first time: Trosa Moving. These guys were great. It took five guys about 3.5 hours (they estimated 4 hours) to move my stuff from a third floor apartment to a third floor apartment. Two guys carried my front-loading washer down from the other apartment and then up from the truck to my new apartment. (I was very impressed.)

Now I am sitting in my new place with a ton of boxes and trying to figure out where to place furniture so I can get the boxes unpacked.

It is a relief to finally have everything moved.

I feel very lucky to have friends who helped me move, a great sister, and an Aunt and Uncle close by. 🙂 Yay family and friends!

Well not so much. More like a scary outting in which my car dies on the Interstate and then miraculously works long enough to get off of an exit (road where I live) and park the car in a pharmacy parking lot. The car has been running a little higher RPM than normal, but the…
