More “good” news
The good news is that my insurance will pay for the damage inside the house from the sewer water. The bad news is that none of the work to replace the sewer line is covered. Sigh.

I got another email from my real estate agent. The house is being shown again today. Cool beans! This is amazing. I don’t think there has ever been this much traffic on the house. Back to work. Had to share. 🙂 Related Images:
Squeaky visits the vet
Kiesha has mostly stopped throwing up — at least she has stopped throwing up solid food. I was cleaning the office carpet this morning and noticed a lot of new puke spots of bile. Called the vet. Kiesha hasn’t been acting right, she doesn’t feel well, and she’s been throwing up for a few days….
Roofers are coming! The Roofers are coming!
Whoever coined the phrase “happy homeowner” should be shot. I like my house, but you know I’ve had to repair almost every major system in the house since I bought it. It gets old after a while. Money pit, but at least it’s an investment (small comfort when you look at the checking account balance)….
Paying for it…
I was way too busy this weekend. Saturday started early with dance practise at 9:00 (arg, not a morning person!). That lasted about 1.5 hours. I went to the barn and worked with Isis for another hour and half. From there, I went home, fed my neighbor’s kitties, and then helped with a community dinner…
Post viewings… no word.
As of tonight, the house has had quite a few viewings after being relisted. Maybe 8 now? Not sure of the exact total. I should be hearing some feedback pretty soon. I feel nervous about hearing back. I was so excited when I thought that maybe one couple were looking at the house a second…
Little Sister Graduated!
Man, I feel old. My youngest sister — 15 years younger than me — just graduated from high school. Even though I missed the ceremony, I was able to make it for the family party. So good news (her graudation) and bad news (Basette’s passing). I’m in DC this week, so I won’t be posting…
