Archaeo: Roman Column Painted in Light
Ancient Greek and Roman sculptures were not always plain white marble. And now Italian researchers are giving the Trajan Column a fresh coat of paint – with light. Rossella Lorenzi reports.

Largest Silver Roman Hits Block
A previously unrecorded Roman piece that is the largest known silver Roman coin will be up for auction at the Ira and Larry Goldberg Coins and Collectibles Pre-Long Beach Sale slated for May 24-27. Out of town this weekend
Driving to NC this weekend for my sister’s graduation. The really cool thing? I might get to meet one fo the authors of an English-language publication on Epona. She lives in Hillsborough, which is directly on my way to Raleigh along I-40. Sweet! It’s going to take a while to get out of town, though….
