AC unit update

A little bit of good news some times goes a very long way. The Rheem AC unit was indeed covered by a parts warranty, but not labor. The unit is now repaired: the variable speed fan motor was bad. It’s the most expensive part of the interior unit. If my understanding is correct, this repair basically meant replacing most of the upstairs interior unit of the heat pump. (Without the parts warranty, the part would have cost $800-1200.)

Unit is now fixed and everything should be good to go. Yay! Now I just have to get the bill from the repair place in TN…

One more month to go before I’m free…
