Post-reinstall woes

The good news post-reinstalls on the gaming laptop? No more driver issues! Weird issues in Windows Security are resolved.

The best part about re-installing Windows and then Steam and downloading a 128+ GB game? None of the Cloud Synced saves for Baldurs Gate 3 will successfully load.

And yes, have spent hours going through posts and solutions, etc. I had eight mods loaded in BG3 (managed with BGMM, script extender, all updated from Nexus mods). Even when I managed to get all of the mods loaded and restored the load order, the game either crashed at 75% load or just returned to the “Press any key” screen.

I can start a new game, save, sync to cloud, and load the game. Nothing wrong with the game itself.

    Problem Fixed

I had two problems with WordPress since I updated to 2.5.1 last week: the trackback field disappeared and no one could leave comments on the posts. The issue turned out to be an incomplete upload of the wp-admin/inludes folder. Once I re-uploaded the folder, the trackback field and comments-enabled options re-appeared on the Write New…
