Photogallery

WordPress 2.5 has known to be incompatible with some plugins. Unfortunately, this includes the Aniga plugin I used for my gallery. I read reviews on WordPress’ forums and plugin sites: NexGEN Gallery came highly recommended. Fully configurable, many options… sounded great. Now that my photo gallery has been moved over for several months, I’ve discovered…

Problem Fixed

I had two problems with WordPress since I updated to 2.5.1 last week: the trackback field disappeared and no one could leave comments on the posts. The issue turned out to be an incomplete upload of the wp-admin/inludes folder. Once I re-uploaded the folder, the trackback field and comments-enabled options re-appeared on the Write New…

This might not sound like much of an accomplishment, but for a linux-based mobile phone with only 8 MB of RAM to open a…

Patented check boxes?

Apparently, IBM has patented a basic of a UI (from Slashdot): theodp writes “What do you call it when you drag a pointer over a checkbox to select or deselect it depending on its original state? Ming arrived!

An-ti-ci-pa-tion… I’ve been waiting for a bloody week. And today, my precious has arrived! For over a year I have been lusting after the Motorola Ming A1200. The Ming is a quad-band GSM phone, so it works in analog and digital frequencies both here and in Europe. The 2MP camera also doubles as a camcorder….
