Blood test result for Kiesha

Some good news at least. Kiesha’s blood tests showed that all of her organs are functioning normally. Her thyroid levels are at the same range they were last time she was tested. So we’re all good there. That’s a bit of a relief. Next step will be the ultrasound. It’s quite expensive. I’m not sure what else I can do to help her, though. I’m not sure if there is time to put off doing the ultra sound a few weeks so the payment for it comes out of next month instead of this month.

You want to do everything you can but it’s a balancing act between trying to do enough to help and making sure there is food to eat, too.

Several times per week, I hear this “ca-thump-ca-thump-ca-THUMP” noise from the bathroom. When I go in to investigate, Her Cuteness is chasing her tail in the bathtub. You would think that a 20 year old cat would know that her tail doesn’t go any where. She’s 20 going on three. For the first time, I…

I realized it had been a while since I had posted any pictures of Kiesha (aka Squeakitty because she squeaks). One of the ladies on Deviant Art was looking for pictures of cats to include in a series of paintings. (Natamon already did a painting of Ambush a few weeks ago.) Here are some recent…

Stella is now the smallest she has ever been: 3 pounds, 13.5 ounces. This Friday we’re going to recheck her phosphorous levels and make sure her meds are at the right dose. Poor little kitten. She is in good spirits and she has been playful. She seems okay, she just didn’t want to eat much…
