BrieBrie likes the washing machine

ByKim (Ceffyl)

BrieBrie loves getting into anything that’s open: closets, cabinets, backpacks, boxes, and now washing machines with damp clothes in it. Every time I do laundry now, BrieBrie is exploring the washer and dryer. She doesn’t care if it’s wet or dry clothes. It’s an open door, she’s exploring.

Tortoiseshell long haired cat climbs into a front-load washing machine.

I’m always careful to check the washer and dryer now before closing the doors every time. Life with a Maine Coon cross kitty is always interesting.

And of course, the backpack picture. I had my picnic backpack on the kitchen table and BrieBrie decided to explore. If she fits, she sits.

    ByKim (Ceffyl)

It seemed appropriate to post this picture today since Basette’s ashes have arrived at the vet’s. It was the last picture I took of her, minute before she was put to sleep. It’s painful to see how different she looks. So lost. She wasn’t there any more; her mind had fled the misery her body…
