Insurance, House, and other fun things!
The plumber came back out today. Guess what? There are tree roots in the sewer line. Not just a few either — enough to coat the cutting head of the snake that went through 75 feet of the sewer line. The bad news? I have to have the front sewer line replaced. This will involve digging up most of the front yard, possibly removing a tree or two (lovely dogwoods, which makes me sick).
The cleaning company from my insurance company has placed three large drying fans and a dehumidifier that is the size of a small cabinet. All of this in the hallway. It’s barely possible to move around them. I just hope the machines don’t have to stay here very long.
