Party Aftermath

The party was fun. I got to see a bunch of people I haven’t seen I a few months. You know when most of your friends have kids because they think 9:00 PM is late. Overall, a nice stress free evening at the party.

Because I was at this party, I had to skip my company’s Yule party. I might have known maybe 5% of the people there. I think I’m glad I got roped into helping with the other party.

  • Been a while.

Wow. So it’s been a while since I last posted. I’ve managed to land (mostly) on my feet. I went from being unemployed to being over-employed, but in a good way. My old freelance contacts paid off in the best possible way: I was given enough work to get me through until I located a…

If you don’t know who Doctor Who is, you’re in for a sordid history of one of the longest-running TV shows. The first running, the BBC series ran for over 25 years with seven men (plus one spinoff movie with the 8th doctor) sharing the role the Doctor during that time. • Inauguration

I’m watching the inauguration ceremony and my absolute favorite classical musicians are playing in an ensemble: Yo-Yo Ma, Itzhak Perlman, Gabriela Montero, and Anthony McGills playing a composition by John Williams. Wow. These are incredible musicians, probably some of the best in the world. And John Williams? LOVE his stuff. I love the bits from…
