It seems like it’s been months since Isis had her last riding lesson. Next one is scheduled for Sunday at 3:00! Let’s hope the weather is nice and she cooperates. She’s had a week off. Related Images:
Well it poured last night. As far as I know, the horse show (Fossils over Fences) has not been cancelled. The farrier came out today and had some excellent news. Even after Isis had a mild case of laminitis, her feet are in excellent shape. The white-line growth is normal and she isn’t lame any more. As far as he was concerned, her feet were good enough to start riding again. Six weeks pasture rest…

Isis was *great*. I mean GREAT. We were relaxed and rode the dressage test twice. She did very well. She’s learned where to stop and could probably ride the pattern by herself (even though we have only ridden it like five times). She stopped square and stood quietly. Only pulled on me once. Big improvement….
