I’m taking some time off this week to work on research and have some much-needed down time. Hopefully, I’ll be able to coordinate with my coauthor who is also on travel this week. However, I won’t be online much because of it.

My sister hit a milestone birthday today. I’m not going to say which birthday or which sister (because I value my life). Here’s hoping that she has a great day and enjoys herself thoroughly. I wish I lived closer so I could spend more time with her. She is definitely not within driving distance, unfortunately….

Queensland authorities have reported the freakish death of Steve Irwin this morning. Irwin apparently was swimming alongside a bull stingray when it attacked, striking Irwin in the chest with its spiked tail. Crikey. Related Images:
