I’m visitng my parents this weekend, so I’ll be possibly posting. Depends upon how exhausted I am from working at the barn. Driving to NC this weekend for my sister’s graduation. The really cool thing? I might get to meet one fo the authors of an English-language publication on Epona. She lives in Hillsborough, which is directly on my way to Raleigh along I-40. Sweet! It’s going to take a while to get out of town, though….

There have been too many deaths in the past year: friends, family, horses. A friend of mine told me that their grandmother had recently passed away. I listened to as much as they wanted to say and just kept them company. My friend wasn’t close to their grandparent, but that doesn’t make it any easier….
I have floppy ankles. Most of the time, I’m fine. Other times, I’ll be walking along and my ankle will suddenly give out and flop towards the ground. This lovely “feature” is exacerbated by the fact that when I was 18 I tore all of the ligaments in my right ankle from a riding accident….
Everyone has been hearing about hurricane Ike heading towards Texas and that all of the oil refineries will have to be shut down for a little while. Gas on the way to wokr this morning was 3.59. When I got off work, the gas stations said $4.09. My friend in Tennessee said that the gas…
