Flashback on Windows XP

I keep a NetBook by my bed for those times when I wake up and have a story or article idea. Or, like now, I want to write a blog post before going to sleep. During the day, I use Macs at work and at home. This Windows XP netbook is the only Windows box in my house (not including the VM on my iMac). I had blissfully forgotten how annoying XP is...

Squeakitty returns!

Kiesha has been eating very well lately and seems to be returning to her normal fluffball self. At our last vet check up, she had gained 11 ounces and her thyroid levels were in the low range of normal. Not enough time to ride, but enough time to...

Thank you for your music, Owain Phyfe

A friend of mine emailed me today and said that his favorite bard, Owain Phyfe had passed away. At first I didn’t recognize the name. However, I recognized the face — and the voice. Such a beautiful voice that could make you weep without realizing it. I never met Owain, but I think I did hear him perform at the TN Ren Faire a while back. Someone posted a picture of Owain performing...
