If you haven’t heard, there was a tragic shooting at the Tennessee Valley Unitarian Universalist Church in Knoxville during the morning service. Saturday the Knoxville News Sentinel posted an article about the City League sponsoring a competition in Knoxville featuring Grand Prix jumping taking place at the Civic Colliseum. The Knoxville Quickstars will be competing against teams from all over the place. It sounds great. Competitions rang from fences 2 feet to 5 feet high with timed and untimed courses. A little bit of good news some times goes a very long way. The Rheem AC unit was indeed covered by a parts warranty, but not labor. The unit is now repaired: the variable speed fan motor was bad. It’s the most expensive part of the interior unit. If my understanding is correct, this repair basically meant replacing most of the upstairs interior unit of the heat pump.
