WordPress 1.5 was released last week, and I couldn’t wait to install the upgrade. In addition to new themes and features, the popular blogging software now includes spam-filtering capabilities!
Over the last few months, the auto-posting spam-bots have discovered my blog and have posted comments on every article. Those bots are now filtered and blocked. Evil online casinos!
This is very strange. Epona.net went from being ranked fourth on Google (keyword search for “epona”) to not even appearing in the listings! Apparently, the algorythms used to calculate page rank have been modified again and lots of people have lost their rankings.
Now some pages with more misinformation then concrete information about Epona have top billing. This is frustrating.
Yes, the site’s metadata is done properly.
